  • You have multiple options when wanting to work with me:

    • Use an HSA/FSA card for payments

    • Many people have out-of-network benefits for their insurance plans, and will get partial reimbursement for sessions. You get reimbursement through submitting superbills - which I can offer to submit on your behalf.

    • I use Thrizer, a payment platform, that makes getting your reimbursements for out-of-network much easier! Thrizer can also typically verify your benefits. See more below.

    • I always recommend contacting your insurance company directly to verify.

  • Here is what we will do! Once you confirm out-of-network benefits, you can register for a free account through the Thrizer app. For each session (pre-deductible), I will collect your payment at time of session and then submit your superbill on your behalf through Thrizer. This saves you time and energy, and let’s be honest - the headache of dealing with insurance.

Once your deductible is met, you will only owe your copay/co-insurance at the time of the session (instead of the entire fee). I will continue to submit your superbills, and Thrizer will do the legwork of collecting the remainder of the payment.

Thrizer can also often verify your benefits for you - which I can do at the time of our intro call.

  • I am excited for you to start this journey!

The best way to start our work together is to book a free 15-minute intro call. You will be able to ask questions, discuss insurance, and tell me what you hope to work on in therapy. Book here

After that, I will schedule our first session together - called an intake assessment. Before that first session, I will send you intake paperwork to complete.

  • Treatment length varies for each person, and is dependent on goals and other factors. In our first few sessions, we will work together to develop a plan for treatment, which will help to give us an idea of treatment length.

  • Your appointment time is an hour set aside specifically for you. Because of this, I am not able to offer that appointment to another client if a cancellation is made at the last minute. I ask that you provide at least 24-hour notice if you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment for any reason. I do charge a $100 cancellation fee for any sessions that are cancelled within 24-hours before your scheduled appointment. Additionally, “no-show” appointments (failing to show up without letting me know ahead of time) may be charged a full session fee of $160. Please know that HSA/FSA cards may not be used for these fees. More information is provided in your intake paperwork.

Obviously, life happens! Feel free to reach out to talk through any specific situations, questions, and/concerns.
